1. Who we are

FerroBridge is a European-facing sourcing office for precision plastic wear parts, based in Nanjing, China. We can be reached by email at wayne@ferrobridge.com. FerroBridge is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What data we collect

When you contact us through the inquiry form or by email, we collect only what you choose to provide:

Your name and company name
Your work email address and country
The content of your inquiry — including part descriptions, photos, drawings or links you share with us

We do not collect private telephone numbers, home addresses, or any personal data unrelated to your inquiry.

3. How we use your data

Your data is used for one purpose only: to respond to your inquiry and, if you place an order, to deliver the requested parts and provide related after-sales service. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Photos and drawings you send us are treated as confidential and are used solely for the purpose of producing a quotation or fulfilling your order. They are shared with our manufacturing partners only to the extent necessary for that purpose, and only after a confidentiality agreement is in place.

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (when you send us an inquiry) and, for prospective business relationships, on the basis of legitimate interest in responding to your communication. Where you are an existing customer, processing is necessary for the performance of a contract.

5. Storage and retention

Inquiries are stored in our password-protected systems for the duration of the business relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards (up to 24 months) to allow follow-up on quotations. Photos and drawings are deleted or returned on your request. Order-related records are retained as required for accounting and tax obligations.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Object to processing, including direct marketing (we do not send unsolicited marketing emails — if you ever receive one from us, replying "unsubscribe" stops it permanently and immediately)
Withdraw consent at any time
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

7. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use tracking cookies and does not run third-party analytics. The inquiry form is processed through a form delivery service; your submission is transmitted to that service over an encrypted connection and forwarded to us by email. The service's own privacy practices apply to the transmission only, not to how we use your data.
