European-facing sourcing office · Precision polymer parts from China

Plastic wear parts that keep your machines running —
rebuilt from a photo of the old one.

We machine replacement wear parts in UHMW-PE, POM, nylon and PTFE for European maintenance teams, distributors and repair shops. No drawings needed to start — a photo of the worn part is enough. No moulds, no minimums, no endless supplier hunting.

The problem

A worn rail costs you a stopped line — not just a part.

Guide rails, wear strips, star wheels and bushings wear out constantly on conveyors, packaging lines and filling machines. When they fail, the line stops — and the loss of one hour of production dwarfs the price of the part. That's why you don't need the cheapest part. You need the part that arrives fast, fits the first time, and lasts.

0 moulds

parts are cut from stock — prototypes and small batches are fast and affordable

1 photo

is enough to start reproduction — no CAD, no reverse-engineering fees

4 polymers

UHMW-PE, POM, nylon, PTFE — covering the vast majority of wear-part jobs

Re-orders

fixed parts every 6 months — one quote, repeat deliveries, no re-negotiation

Capabilities

Four engineering polymers, one point of contact

We recommend the right material for your media, temperature and load — often an upgrade over what the machine shipped with. Material selection is a quick conversation, not a consulting project.

UHMW-PE

Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene
−200 to +80 °C
  • Among the best wear resistance of all plastics
  • Self-lubricating & non-stick
  • Outstanding impact resistance
  • The default for conveyors & guides
  • Limitation: not for sustained heat above +80 °C; creeps under long-term load

POM / Acetal

Polyoxymethylene (POM-C)
−40 to +100 °C
  • Dimensional stability & stiffness
  • Excellent machinability
  • Precision slides, gears & star wheels
  • Limitation: not for strong acids or alkalis

PA / Nylon

PA6 · PA66 · cast (MC) nylon
−30 to +110 °C
  • Tough, wear-resistant, economical
  • Cast nylon for large, stable parts
  • Bushings, rollers & sprockets (dry zones)
  • Limitation: absorbs moisture — dimensional drift in wet/humid zones

PTFE

Polytetrafluoroethylene
−200 to +260 °C
  • Chemically inert
  • Lowest coefficient of friction
  • Seals, guide bands & chemical-duty parts
  • Limitation: low strength — cold-flows under load, not for structural use

Also available: PEEK and PET for high-temperature or demanding applications. Not produced: injection-moulded mass parts, conveyor belts, safety-critical or food-contact components without material documentation (DoC).
How it works

From worn part to delivered replacement

One point of contact, five steps. You never talk to a factory, a freight forwarder and a bank separately — we handle the chain end to end.

1

Send a photo or the worn part

A photo with rough dimensions is enough to start — no drawings, no CAD, no minimums. Old parts can be shipped to us; they'll be returned with your order.

2

Material review

Three quick questions — media, temperature, load — and we recommend the right polymer, often an upgrade over the original (e.g. PA → UHMW-PE for wear, POM → PTFE for chemicals).

3

Fixed quotation

A firm, fixed quote with a clear breakdown — parts, tooling (usually none), packaging and freight. Reply & feasibility check within 24 h; firm quote typically within 2–3 working days of complete information

4

Production & QC

First-article inspection on every order, batch samples retained, material density-checked. Photos and measurement reports you can verify before shipment.

5

Delivery

EXW, FOB or DAP to your door, with export documentation handled. Typical lead time 2–4 weeks from approval; urgent downtime orders possible.

Why FerroBridge

Built for the four situations platforms can't cover

Online quoting platforms are excellent at metal CNC from CAD files. Wear-part replacement is a different game — and that's exactly where we win.

Old-part reproduction

Send the worn part or a photo — we reproduce it in the right polymer. Platforms won't accept used parts; local shops charge 3–5× more for the same job.

Downtime parts, fast

When a line is stopped, speed beats price. We work directly with the workshop, so we can prioritise your order and tell you the truth about the lead time.

Material upgrades

We give honest advice when a material change makes the part last longer or run cleaner — the kind of engineering conversation a self-service platform never has.

Long-term supply

Fixed parts, re-ordered every six months: one quotation, repeat deliveries, and one supplier who already knows your parts, your tolerances and your paperwork.

Material quick reference

Choosing the right polymer

A working knowledge of the four workhorse polymers. For your specific case we'll confirm with the material supplier — no guesswork on critical jobs.

FAQ

Common questions

No. A photo of the worn part with rough dimensions is enough to start. Drawings, CAD or STEP files are welcome when available — they make the quote faster and more precise.
Small-batch friendly: from a single prototype to production runs. Because parts are machined from stock — no moulds — there is no minimum-quantity game. A single urgent part is a legitimate order.
We reply within 24 hours on working days and tell you honestly whether we can make your part — and if not, why not. A firm quote follows typically within 2–3 working days of receiving complete information (photos, dimensions, quantity).
If a part doesn't fit as specified, we remake it. Measurements are verified against the first-article report before shipment — if something is off, we tell you before we ship, not after. This is exactly what the first-article inspection is for.
First-article inspection on every order, retained batch samples, and density checks on the material — the simplest way to verify that you're getting virgin polymer, not regrind. Measurement reports and photos before shipment.
We produce functional replacement parts from your samples or drawings. We do not reproduce parts carrying brand logos, engraved part numbers or protected designs, and we don't accept orders described as copies of a specific brand. Our quotation includes the standard warranty that you hold the rights to the drawings and samples you provide.
For non-direct-contact parts (rails, guards, chain wheels, frames) we supply from food-grade material on request. For direct food-contact parts we only proceed with a material Declaration of Compliance (EU 1935/2004, EU 10/2011) from the material supplier.
New customers: deposit plus balance before shipment, T/T. Sample cost and freight are prepaid. Quotations valid 15–30 days. Established customers (6+ months) can move to deposit plus payment against B/L copy.
About

Bridging Chinese polymer machining and European industry

FerroBridge is a European-facing sourcing office connecting European maintenance teams, distributors and repair shops with precision polymer machining in China. We act as your local team on the ground — one point of contact from worn part to delivered replacement, with a European service standard and deep roots in the Yangtze River Delta machining cluster.

Every engagement starts the same way: you send us a worn part or a photo, we tell you honestly whether we can make it, what it would cost and when it would arrive. If we can't do it well, we say so — before you spend anything.
